Government confirms extended CE marking recognition for Ecodesign regulations

The government has this week confirmed that CE marking recognition for energy-related products (ErPs) regulated under Ecodesign rules will extend to cover new EU regulations made under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).  For manufacturers, this means no new conformity process to plan for in the short term, and no changes to current HETAS certification processes.
